How It All Began...
Pet Teek LLC was founded by the creators of the Baby K’tan™ Baby Carrier. Two couples, the Chesals and Wernicks, who have been
close friends for years, were each raising a child with special needs, in addition to two other children. With a desire to provide their
babies with the sensory nourishment they require for optimal development, while also wanting to carry their babies as much as possible for
parent-child bonding, both couples experimented with different baby slings and carriers.
Not finding the ideal carrier, they began improving upon traditional slings and front carriers on the market. They ultimately invented a unique (patent pending) baby carrier - the Baby K'tan tm Baby Carrier - which has an innovative double loop design with a sliding lumbar support band, is easy to use, stylish and comfortable for parent and child. They soon realized that their innovative and easy to use carrier would serve the needs of pet parents as well. Its simple design made it extremely easy to position small pets in the carrier, and the convenience of wearing a pet, especially when traveling, is obvious. Thus, the Pet Teek™ Pet Carrier was born!
The Pet Teek™ Pet Carrier is a cross between a sling and a more structured front carrier, providing the positions and benefits of both,
with added security as compared to the traditional sling, and added comfort and ease of use as compared to the traditional front carrier.
It is made entirely of soft, breathable 100% cotton knit fabric, with NO buckles, rings, clasps, snaps or hardware. Pet owners
can stylishly carry their small pets, while freeing up their hands to tend to other tasks or walk larger pets.
In addition, just as the Baby K'tan™ provides the optimal environment for carrying children with special needs, so too the Pet Teek™ Pet Carrier allows you to conveniently and comfortably carry disabled or elderly pets close to your body.

A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of every Pet Teek™ Pet Carrier will be allocated to Broadway Barks. Founded by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore, the foundation’s mission is to focus on the plight of homeless animals and educate pet owners on responsible pet ownership. They currently work with numerous shelters and rescue groups, as well as help special animals that need medical attention.
